Gold Sponsor
Cardialysis is a prominent European contract research organisation (CRO) and a state-of-the-art cardiac imaging core laboratory with an exclusive focus in cardiovascular research. Cardialysis specialises in the execution of high-quality, full-service, multi-national randomised clinical trials and cardiac imaging analysis, including echocardiography, magnetic resonance imaging, electrocardiography, cardiac computed tomography, and intravascular imaging.
Cardialysis helped pioneer the field over 40 years ago and has contributed to enhancing medical therapies globally, in both pharmacological and device interventions. The CRO has successfully executed over 400 clinical investigations. It proudly fosters collaborations with investigators, regulatory authorities, public organisations, academic institutions, and industry partners, in the execution of clinical trials, from early phase of clinical development up to phase IV or post-marketing trials.
Cardialysis has operations in Europe, North America, Asia, and Australia, with active growth plans in Africa and South America. The organisation is currently focused on accelerating clinical research pathways through registry-based research, progressive and validated implementation of artificial intelligence, increasing awareness on the importance of quality of life, and ensuring adequate representation of traditionally underrepresented patient groups in clinical research. In Partnership With
The European Cardiovascular Research Institute (ECRI) is a foundation that brings together a community of top clinical researchers, industry partners, and private/public funding partners in order to perform clinical investigations that improve cardiovascular healthcare; and, perform these clinical investigations according to international regulations with strict monitoring of budgets and timelines. ECRI is headquartered in Rotterdam, The Netherlands, and partners with scientific leaders throughout Europe, in North America, and Asia.
Clinical research is a collaborative endeavour and adequate distribution of tasks and responsibilities allows each team member to perform at her/his best. Traditionally, investigator-initiated studies in Europe are sponsored by clinician-scientists, who in addition to daily clinical work, are expected to take on logistical, coordinating, legal, and financial responsibilities. ECRI provides an expert platform to unload the coordinating investigators from non-scientific tasks and gives them time back to prioritise clinical and scientific work.
ECRI remains at the forefront of clinical research by working closely with key opinion leaders in cardiovascular science who conceptualise and design ambitious and potentially groundbreaking clinical investigations. Results of ECRI trials have led to changes in clinical practice and ongoing trials may continue to do so. In order to execute future trials, ECRI created its Grants and Donations program as a vehicle to join forces with individuals and institutions interested in supporting and accelerating innovation in cardiology.
